Father Seeks True Worshipers!

‘But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.  God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth’ (John 4:23-24).

Worship is the life-style of every child of God.  We are born of God and we are born to worship Him in spirit and truth.  We are spirit, and we have a soul and we live in a body.  Our spirit man is alive to God now; unto righteousness.  Worship is not only just singing with all instruments or without; you worship anyhow because it is the posture of your spirit.

We worship because we are ‘royal priests’, minister to God through our worship.  ‘We are chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people; that you may proclaim the praises of Him who call you out of darkness into His marvelous light’ (1 Peter 2:9).  We are not just worshiping in the church but our worship begins in our closet.  We recognize our Great High Priest – Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior and our King of kings and worship Him.  We are the temple of God; our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6: 19).  We can lift up our hands and worship Him and give Him all the glory, honor, power and praises due to Him. Take a pause from all your busy schedules, to worship Him.

We are bought at a price, by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.  The Bible says in 1 Cor 6:20, ‘for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit; which ARE GOD’S’.  As we worship God in spirit and in truth we glorify God in our body and spirit which belongs to God.

There is no worship without relating with God from our heart.  In other words, there is no worship without relationship.  We can be in the church or any public meetings lifting up our hands and singing praises to Him.  We can worship God without having any relationship with God.  We can give Him our lip-service as well.  That is religion! We worship and adore Him because of who HE WAS, WHO HE IS AND WHO HE WILL BE! We worship and adore Him because of His great love for us! He gave Himself for us, a perfect and eternal sacrifice on the cross.  Now, we are righteous in Christ, we are sons and daughters of God; we are the product of His Grace.  He has crowned us with glory, honor, beauty and favor!  We are not just forgiven sinners but we are justified; we are declared righteous because to God we have committed no sins!  We have received the Eternal Life!  His Name is named upon us! We are the New Creations in Christ.  Our history begins with God for we are born of God!  Superior to satan, sin, sickness, poverty and death!  What a privileged life this is.  He stood in our place of condemnation, accusation, guilt and shame.  We are in Christ, seated with Him in the heavenlies.  Christ in us THE HOPE OF GLORY!  Amen! Hallelujah!

Our revelation of the One in us changes our perspective of worship. True worship goes beyond the earthly realms and any empty words!  I have attached a worship video link, song sung by Bro Eben, along with this blog: http://youtu.be/BQDb0VfLX7o  (you can paste this link to your browser)

As you read this I invite you to  worship with me and EXALT THE KING OF kings WHO DESERVE ALL PRAISES, HONOR, GLORY AND POWER..  YOU WILL BE REFRESHED, ENERGIZED and STRENGTHENED AS YOU WORSHIP HIM.

If you have lost that 'love song’ you once used to sing to Him; you can begin again.  God is restoring that True worship lifestyle in you!   Passionately follow Him, He is so Faithful, True, Genuine, Holy Lover of your soul!  Don’t stop!  Keep worshiping and sing unto Him.  You are rising above every challenge and adversity you may face in your life!
ave lost that ‘

Join With Me in this prayer:

Abba, Father, I am yours and I am born to worship You!  I lost that new song I once used to sing to You.. I belong to You alone!  As I worship You now, I am rising above every fear, anxieties and adversities!  I am restored to my priestly ministry!  I Love You Abba, Father! You Are my everything! I breathe Your very air! Your Love so holy and unfailing reaching me and lifting me up and causing me to worship You! Be exalted and be glorified in my life Abba! Father!  I love You Father!  I trust in Your Divine Power to enable everyday this priestly ministry through me to Jesus, the slain Lamb of God! In Jesus Name. Amen.

If you have no relationship with God then this is your divine appointment with God.  I invite you and plead with you to reconcile with God.  Say this prayer after me:

PRAYER OF SALVATION

‘O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.  Your Word says, ‘whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2:21).   I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life.  I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Romans 10:9, that If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in  your heart that God has raised Him the from the dead, you shall be saved.’  I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)! I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus.  Hallelujah!”

10 Distinct Pictures of Christian Reflective Prayer by James W Goll

I was so blessed by the article written by great Man of Prayer, James W. Goll.  Please read and be blessed.

The Lord is truly revealing fresh insights into these ancient truths. As you know, books have often been my mentors in my journey in live and ministry. The following is a combination of gleanings of years of research and time just spent with the Father.

1.     The David Model: Considering God’s Creation and Might

From the Life of David
Imagine as the shepherd boy David spent many nights under the stars; looking, gazing, pondering, musing on creation and God the Creator. Creation is where most all of us first encounter God. The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handwork (Ps. 19). Before people first read about God in the Scriptures, they tend to learn about our heavenly Father through nature. Consider the rainbow – a sign of God’s covenant after the great flood (Gen. 9:13). Study the David Model to meditate on the splendor and majesty of God.

        i.            Job 37:1-24
      ii.            Psalms 8:1-8

    vi.            Psalm 90:1-17
 vii.            Isaiah 40:1-31
viii.            Isaiah 44:1-45
2.     The Mary Model: Pondering the Person of Jesus

From Mary – The Mother of Jesus
Can you begin to imagine what Mary pondered on? Just think – the Son of God growing inside of you. You feel His heart beat; you feel His foot move; you bring Him to birth! Truly, one of closest people ever to Jesus was His Mother Mary. Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. (Luke 2:19). She knew Him better than anyone, yet just like us, she wanted to know Him still better. Mary becomes our example of what it means to really know Christ – to come into intimacy with the lover of our soul. Let’s join in her model of meditating on the person of Christ Jesus.

3.     The Saint John Model: Thinking about the Cross

From the Life of John the Beloved

When you consider the St. John Model of meditation you center your focus on the finished work of the cross of Jesus. John was the only one of the 12 disciples to stand at the foot of the cross and actually witness the death of our Savior. It changed John. It will change you too. You too will boast only in the great immense love of God. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. Let’s follow John’s example and always keep the love of God demonstrated through the cross of Christ ever before us.

Scripture Passages on the Cross
        i.            Isaiah 53:1-12
      ii.            John 19:16-37
   iii.            Acts 4:10-12
    iv.            Romans 3:21-26

viii.            Hebrews 9:11-28
    ix.            I Peter 1:18-23
4.     The Joshua Model: Focusing on Biblical Principles

From the Life Joshua, the Successor of Moses

Those who follow the Joshua Model of meditation muse on the promises and principles of God’s Word to bring them God’s success. This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Josh 1:8). Wow! Joshua chewed on the words given to him by God through Moses and thus he found success. Should we not learn this art of meditation of focusing on Biblical principles and bear much fruit?

Scripture Passages for Focusing on Biblical Principles

        i.            Joshua 1:1-9
      ii.            Psalm 19:7-14
   iii.            Psalm 119:1-176
    iv.            Jeremiah 15:16
      v.            John 6:63-69
    vi.            Acts 17:11
 vii.            II Timothy 3:14-17
viii.            Hebrews 4:12
5.     The Saint Paul Model: Becoming like Christ

From the Life of Paul the Apostle

Here we find the example of meditating or becoming like Christ from the life of Paul who said, set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth” (Col. 3:2). Paul taught others to follow his example by thinking on whatsoever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of a good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy – meditate on these things (Phil. 4:8). Perhaps, we like Paul, could become so heavenly minded that we become of earthly good!

Scripture Passages on Becoming Like Christ
        i.            Galatians 2:19-21
      ii.            Philippians 2:5-12
   iii.            Colossians1:14-23
    iv.            Colossians 3:1-11
      v.            I Thessalonians 5:16-24
    vi.            II Timothy 2:15
 vii.            Philemon 4:21
6.     The Timothy Model: Meditating on Your Calling and Giftings

From the Life of Young Timothy the Disciple

The Timothy Model reminds you to consider God’s unique calling in your life and the reason He has gifted you for service. Remember the admonition, Do not neglect the gift that is in you …meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all(I Tim. 4:14,15). We too can grasp a clearer vision of what the Lord has for us if we will pause, reflect and meditate on God’s mission for our life and therefore achieve greater effectiveness just as young Timothy was urged to do.

Scripture Passages on Meditating on Your Gifts
        i.            Acts 13:1-4
      ii.            Romans 1:11-16
   iii.            Romans 11:29 – 12:1-8
    iv.            I Corinthians 12:1-11
      v.            Ephesians 4:7-16
    vi.            I Timothy 4:11-16
 vii.            II Timothy 4:1,2
7.     The Haggai Model: Considering Your Failures

From the Life of Haggai the Prophet

In learning to meditate as Haggai did, we look at our problems, failures and sins and “Consider Your Ways” (Hag. 1:5, 7). Haggai motivates us to look at our shortcomings, change our thinking, and then change our ways. By considering the flaws we can learn not to repeat them.

8.     Scripture Passages About Problem Solving
        i.            Haggai 1:3-11
      ii.            Haggai 2:14-19
   iii.            Acts 6:1-7
    iv.            Acts 15:1-27
      v.            Romans 10:17-21
    vi.            I Corinthians 5:1-13
 vii.            I John 1:7-2:11
9.     The Asaph Model: Meditating on God’s Intervention

From the Life of the Psalmist Asaph

Asaph wrote 12 psalms that exalt the Lord for His interventions in his life. What God did for Asaph in the past, (and you and I also) will present a key of encouragement for difficult times for the future. I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds (Ps. 77:11, 12). Through this model you will be encouraged to record significant answers to prayer so you can remember God’s faithful ways.

Scripture Passages on God’s Intervention
        i.            Psalm 3
      ii.            Psalm 50
   iii.            Psalm 77
    iv.            Psalm 79
      v.            Psalm 82
    vi.            Psalms 90; Acts 9:20-25
10.The Malachi Model: Meditating on God’s Name

From the Life of Malachi, The Last Old Testament Prophet

Here we find a model of meditating on the Names of God. Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name (Mal 3:16). Each Name of God depicts a unique character or task of God that teaches us more of who He is and how He relates to us. Practicing the Malachi Model draws us into a greater trust relationship with the one who holds one hand.

Scripture Passages for Meditating on the Names of God
        i.            Exodus 3:14,15
      ii.            Exodus 33:18 – 34:8
   iii.            Psalm 138:1-8
    iv.            Malachi 3:16 – 4:2
      v.            Matthew 6:9-13
    vi.            John 4:19-26
 vii.            I John 2:12
11.The Sons of Korah Model: Contemplating Intimacy with God

From the Life the Sons of Korah as Portrayed in the Psalms

The Sons of Korah Model focuses on knowing God intimately. Twelve descriptive psalms are attributed to the sons of Korah who declared, ‘We have thought, O God, on Your loving kindness, in the midst of Your temple’ (Ps. 48:9). These Psalmists loved and longed to know god more deeply. This generation was different from their patriarchal Korah, who was judged by God for not coming into the sanctuary of God. But the sons cried out, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God” (Ps. 12:1, 2). Oh yes, let’s follow the next generation and hunger for His presence and meditate on the call to greater intimacy with God.

Scripture Passages on Intimacy with God
        i.            Psalm 2
      ii.            Psalm 46:1-11
   iii.            Psalm 84
    iv.            Matthew 6:1-34
      v.            John 15:1-7
    vi.            John 17:1-26
 vii.            I John 2:1-18
viii.            I John 4:7-21
