Believing Prayers!

‘Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown in to the sea! and does not  doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.  For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident)  that it is granted to you, and you will (get it)’ (Mark 11:23,24). From our opening verses we understood believing prayers receive the answers in the prayer.  It doesn’t say, hoping prayers but believing prayers.  So what is believe and what is faith?  In Hebrews 11:1 says, ‘Now FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the tittle deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of thing (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality (faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses).’  

Hope is expecting an answer for your prayer which is unpredictable.  So don’t just hope but press ahead with the assurance of the things you hoped for, believing that it is granted to you and it will manifest in the natural.  Faith possesses the answer.  God’s Word is the evidence of your answer. God’s Word reveals the unseen reality to your spirit !  Understanding faith is important.  You may be believing and thinking you have faith.  Remember, ‘now faith is the substance of the things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen’ (Heb 11:1) (NKJV). 

For this reason only Paul wrote in his letters to the saints to pray in the spirit.  You will read that in my next blog.  So don’t miss it!

Remember: ‘whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident)  that it is granted to you, and you will (get it)’ (Mark 11:23,24). (AMP)
